"For with much wisdom comes much sorrow
the more knowledge, the more grief."
Pain lies where beauty is
But what is more real
Than what…
Than what you feel?
Your natural affection
Reflects in your Dharma
Everyone finds it
In the heart
Of his art
And while one may
Shape the legs of wood
Another sat there drawing up
The schematic blue print
For in the one hand man
Is passed the weight stone
Of love on the one scale
And the world on the other
Shall me make a blood sacrifice
Of young flowers in their prime
Sour and serious to the bone
To argue like a child that mocks
A heavy warrior coming back home
And say “NO”
Leave the little flower there
The one you picked out in the field
Let it die out there in the cold
“ALONE”.
For in the one hand man
Is passed the weight stone
Of love on the one scale
And the world on the other
Your natural affection
Reflects in your Dharma
Everyone finds it
In the heart

Blind Insight
04:50
|
|||
Like an infant and its mother
become a blanket and cradle
sense is found within
warmth shared
Something to you is shown
birth giver's hand so kind
withholding the secrets of …Gaia
I reach out
something feels good
I remember the taste
I smell the sea
I catch a glimpse of something
I have never seen before
for the eye that sees it is me
“It felt good
I learn
I become older
But what I have
I still see as a toddler
It feels like pain
My mouth tastes like iron nails”
I watch the order man is making
be swept away like sand
Ι stand here upon the silver shore
something sharp sticks in my side
It stings my eyes
as Ι remember you taking shape… In my heart
I know how love works
since once upon a time
I as well grew up there
below the heart of another's
Something to you is shown
birth giver's hand so kind
withholding the secrets of …Gaia
I reach out
something feels good
I remember the taste
I smell the sea
I catch a glimpse of something
I have never seen before
for the eye that sees it is me

Velvet Meadows
04:53
|
|||
You can hear it in the quiet of the wet foliage
Resting in tranquil suspension upon its frames
Of different designs ranging from tree to brush
Flavored by mint, basil, rosemary and sage…
Each in its specific place
Ordained to adorn
The interwoven tapestries hanging from pane..
..to pane
One after the other stringing in rows of chaos
Perpetuate elegantly well placed
over the ages
At certain given times of day the place grows quiet
With no wind and little sound within the holy solace
Man may stand there in sheer awe of the garden
A place he did not come to but somehow found
The sweet places in life where chasing winds wane
“The fine things we appreciate that come from within
Are showered in the velvet meadows of our minds
I pray that the light might shine through my eyes
As a father would hope for his son
in this world
Where there once was only darkness
his voice is heard”
You can hear it in the quiet of the wet foliage
Resting in tranquil suspension upon its frames
Of different designs ranging from tree to brush
Flavored by mint, basil, rosemary and sage.

Amor Vedanta

”The world is music
It moves you
Each instrument
One to its own”
Entering during play
You have no say in it
In order to paint
One must know pain
“I see you there, my dear fellow lips
My skin unborn
My tongue tastes
The water with my eyes closed”
Vision blurs as fingertips tremble
The material plane is magic
But it is love that may sting the caster
Amor Luna white light of sleep
Riverside shade of slumber
Taking a rest from the brass disc of day

Remembering Now
06:06
|

"Stand back!
Be silent!
Be still
That's it
And look upon this moment
Savor it
Rejoice with great gladness
Remember it always…
…Remember it then"
For every man is actual at day
Always forgotten yet
Remembered at night
Irrelevant at any given moment
Though fulfilling every requirement
While breathing with my mouth open
I squint at the shimmering horizon
A mighty dawn is what I met..
The light that thunders there is blinding…
And it opens up like the sun
It seems like a portal
In the event taking place on the distance
Where thoughts rain down
Like the effect you get
With water
And how it can be
so revealing
When it is poured for long enough
Over something… That is not good enough
(The quote is by Merlin in the movie Excalibur – 1981)

Tree House
07:43
|
|||
My tree house
is only as great
As it is meager
I did not plan on it
it just worked out…that way
I never saw, my tree house
though I believed
that it was out there
so I started building it
inside my head
When I close my eyes
I can see it now
that I’ve grown into it.
Its walls are made out of leaves
and within the wind
it is… wafting me
I've come to see
my tree house finally
but first I had to lose
the eyes of my youth
To be able to stand back
in order to ask some questions
without answers
“That it was out there
so I started building it
without answers”
Being said that, I did not conceive any of it
it just came up out of its own
For the query without end
is the most entertaining
And it keeps us yearning on
to find out
what the tree is one of many all along
Within
One of many all along… Within

O melancholy Brothers, dark, dark!
O battling in black floods without an ark!
O spectral wanderers of unholy Night!
My soul hath bled for you these sunless years,
With bitter blood-drops running down like tears:
Oh dark, dark, withdrawn from joy and light!
Good tidings of great joy for you:
There is no God; no Fiend with names divine
Made us and tortures us; if we must pine,
It is to satiate no Being's gall.
And I have searched the heights and depths
the scope Of all our universe, with desperate hope
Whom we must curse for cursing us with life;
Whom we must curse because the life he gave
Could not be buried in the quiet grave,
Could not be killed by poison or the knife.
My heart is sick with anguish for your bale;
Your woe hath been my anguish; yea, I quail
This little life is all we must endure,
The grave's most holy peace
…Is ever sure,
We fall asleep and never wake again;
Nothing is of us but the mouldering flesh,
Whose elements dissolve and merge afresh
In earth, air, plants, and other men.
We fall asleep and never wake up again;
Whose elements dissolve and merge afresh
In earth, air, plants, and other men.
